Mustang Fest
After our trip to LA for the Super Car Sunday we went to Holliday Park for a Mustang event. It was a pretty cool show even though I'm not that big of a Mustang fan. We waited in the parking lot for the longest time (probably 30 minutes) after we followed the Mustangs from Super Car Sunday to the park. They parked in the parking lot and walked away from their cars leaving just the way they look below. We waited for the 30 minutes and decided to leave, thinking that these were the only ones to see, which we had already seen at the other show. As we were pulling out of the parking lot we noticed that there were Mustangs littered all over the park grass! So then we parked again, a little closer to where the Mustangs were and took a stroll to see them all. Below the first photo is what we saw within the park.

Six Flags - Magic Mountain
I realize that I have been to 3 animal parks, received a lens, got some Guinness paraphernalia... and now we are in Six Flags going to town on some roller coasters! These were all for my birthday!
We decided to hit a couple water rides. We.got.soaked...

Fly Gets A Spankin'
Kirstie made cupcakes for my birthday today. We had just driven back from Six Flags and there were a couple flies who followed us in. One of Parish's favorite games is fly swatting, and he was going to town on them. There was just one left and it landed on one of the cupcakes. He asked permission beforehand, and then proceeded to smack the fly on the cupcake. The fly must have simply found heaven in that cupcake and decided it was time to go. Simple as that. Chock up another win to Kirstie's stellar cooking!
They were strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese icing. Just in case you were wondering.

Guava Beach: To My Love
On our San Diego trip we went to a great little place that we had some Mexican food, so great in fact that I can't remember the restaurants name. Haha... Anyway, afterwards we took a drive to the beach which took all of 5 minutes from the restaurant.
We stole a spot at someone's condo on the beach and ran out for a couple minutes to see the sunset and take some kissy photos.
Good times!
Who wants to come with next time?
New Kitty for Jim & Starlyn
Starlyn and Jim have picked up a new kitty! They found it at Tulare Frozen Foods under a pallet and Jim couldn't stand that it was so skinny and covered in dirt and stuff. Who could right? Anyway, we went over to Tulare for the weekend to hang out by the pool and visit with the parents. Also, to see the new kitty!

Drag Racing @ Famoso Raceway
There are lots of tracks in the area, and I must see them all. We went to a drag strip called Famoso Raceway. There were a decent amount of cars, unfortunately I think there were more cars that people at this particular event. It was extremely casual. So casual in fact that I walked right out onto the staging lanes to take photos of the cars about 10 feet from them as they blasted down the track. Kirstie didn't want to come with so I ventured out on my own for some shots. It was a really good time!
Beer and cars. Or is it beers and car...
Wheelie shots!
I would like to go back again soon. I think there are some good races coming up in the fall and I can't wait to get some good photos of the pros.

SeaWorld (San Diego Trip)
This was day two of our San Diego trip. We went to SeaWorld for a whole day and did everything from the kiddy ride roller coasters, which were all but exciting, to the amazing Shamu shows and dolphin dancing! All kinds of sea life was present, but there is no way I could show all the awesome photos we took. So here are just a few of the better ones...
The sea lions were the first stop. They had little bird friends which weren't scared to get in your business if you had anything to eat.
There were two, and this was the fatter, not quite as agile one. I like him better though 'cause he had a super hero cape.
We had a great time on day two of our San Diego adventure. I'm not sure how we managed to see everything again all in one day, but we did. We had lunches packed and ready to be eaten though so we didn't have to wait in any lines for food and all that stuff. Really fun!
