Zaelin sent me a recipe for granola bars and they turned out so well I thought I would share!
4 cups quick cook oats
1/3 cup canola oil
3/4 cup maple syrup (can be substituted for sugar free syrup)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Mix the oats, chips, and nuts in a bowl.
Add the vanilla, oil, and syrup to the dry mixture.
Stir well and put in baking pan about an inch deep.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
(All depends on how crunchy or chewy you like the bars!)
